Blessings to our Spectrios Family and to everyone as we address a challenging uncertain time in our history.  We will overcome this pandemic by following necessary guidelines, taking action to remain strong and keeping a positive attitude.

The mission of the Spectrios Institute continues with temporary measures in place to comply with State mandates to help stop the spread of the coronavirus. We will do our part to protect the health and safety of our staff, patients, families, friends and neighbors. To that end, the staff of the Spectrios Institute will not be in the “Deicke House of Hope” starting March 23rd through April 7th.

Our staff will continue to serve you remotely and do our best to respond to

your needs.  We will be checking our phone messages, emails, and general mail over this period of time.  We will work with you rescheduling appointments and new appointment needs. When possible, we will mail out prescription glasses, devices and access technology. We will try to offer adaptive training on any new prescription glasses, devices and access technology by phone or possibly online.

We hope to soon offer online low vision rehabilitation “tele-medicine” services. We also plan to continue our Low Vision Rehabilitation Support Group program online.  More details to follow soon.

The coronavirus will not stop our commitment to people with vision loss nor dampen our energy and enthusiasm to advance our mission!

Please consider helping us with your donations. While our April 25th Galag has been canceled, we are still asking for your support and involvement!

Look for our new Gala activities on-line.  Let’s have some fun!

We will also be monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic status and make notifications as changes occur related to our mission’s services.

We appreciate your patience, kindness and support! We count our blessings! Stay safe, healthy and positive!
