Katrina Stratton is the Assistant Clinical Director at Spectrios Institute for Low Vision, where she also serves as an Occupational Therapist in the Low Vision Clinic. A Chicagoland native, Katrina is dedicated to helping individuals with vision impairment maintain independence and continue engaging in meaningful daily activities.
She earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Rush University College of Health Sciences. During her professional education, she completed fieldwork with the Chicago Lighthouse, where she developed a passion for low vision rehabilitation. Now, as a clinical educator, Katrina is committed to mentoring the next generation of occupational therapists, providing hands-on training for students during their fieldwork at Spectrios Institute. Her dedication to education was recognized with the Cynthia Hughes Harris Fieldwork Educator Award from Rush University’s Department of Occupational Therapy.
Katrina actively engages with the community by delivering presentations on low vision rehabilitation to local senior living and assisted living facilities. She believes there is always a way to stay engaged in meaningful activities and enjoys collaborating with clients to develop effective strategies. Outside of work, Katrina likes to cook, garden, and listen to audiobooks.
