SUPPORT & NETWORKING GROUPS
Spectrios Institute’s low vision support groups are here for everyone with vision loss. Everyone is welcome and you do not need to be a Spectrios patient to attend. If there is a topic you would like to see covered email us at info@Spectrios.org and let us know so we can add it to the agenda.
Our monthly Zoom call-in support group meets:
The first Friday of the month at 10:30 am CT.
This group welcomes guest speakers from organizations who serve the low vision community. The call is moderated by Katrina Stratton, OTR/L our Assistant Clinical Director at Spectrios and a skilled Occupational Therapist specializing in low vision rehabilitation.
The second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm CT.
This group is facilitated by Spectrios’ Access Technology specialist, Mark and Chris, who understand first hand the challenges of living with vision loss. The group focuses on conversations around the latest aids, apps, and other technology tools that can help you navigate life with low vision.

Third Wednesday Evening Chat Group
Please note that beginning in 2026, this group will no longer meet. Thank you to everyone who has been part of our third Wednesday chat group. Your participation and willingness to share your experiences have made this a welcoming space for connection and encouragement. We hope you’ll continue to stay connected by joining one of our other support groups, held on the first Friday and second Wednesday of each month.
