We expect vision loss to double in the next 30 years.
Vision loss impacts people of all ages and in all walks of life. Age-related vision loss from eye conditions, such as macular degeneration and glaucoma, are prevalent in older adults and have become a major health concern in our community and across the nation.
Children are also impacted by vision loss – it is estimated that 3% of children have vision impairment.
As vision loss rises, so does the need for Spectrios’ low vision rehabilitation program.
Over 60% of our funding comes from donations and grants. The fee we charge patients covers only a portion of each patient’s rehabilitation program. Your donation enables us to keep our programs affordable and sustain our high-quality low vision rehabilitation services that help individuals with vision loss reach their visual potential.
We depend on your donation to ensure low vision care is available to everyone with vision loss today and in the years to come.
