Vision loss affects people of all ages and in all walks of life. Age-related vision loss from eye conditions, such as macular degeneration and glaucoma, are prevalent in older adults and have become a major health concern in our community and across the nation.

Since 1986 Spectrios Institute for Low Vision has been addressing the devastating effects of severe vision loss by offering a unique, nationally recognized low vision rehabilitation program. Using the latest technology, tools, and expertise, along with caring support, our patients find solutions that maximize their sight to not only see better, but also to live more hopeful and independent lives.

Over 60% of our funding comes from donations and grants. The fee we charge patients covers only a portion of each patient’s rehabilitation program. Your donation enables us to keep our programs affordable and sustain our high-quality low vision rehabilitation services that help individuals with vision loss reach their visual potential.

Financial support is also important in perpetuating our vision for the future: to expand our programs and services, to make them more accessible, and to reach more people with vision loss than ever before.

We depend on your donation to ensure low vision care is available to everyone with vision loss today and in the years to come.
