Have you ever wondered why it is the Spectios INSTITUTE for Low Vision?  Why is it an Institute?  In short, it is because we provide students of optometry and occupational therapy training in the field of low vision rehabilitation.

We have trained and launched the careers of many low vision optometrists that have gone on to work in places like the Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins.  In 2019, we expanded our training program to include Occupational Therapists.  We now provide training to students of Occupational Therapy in the field of low vision.

At the end of 2020, Dr. Rachel Park, OD, FAAO completed a low vision rehabilitation residency as part of our optometric program and Katrina Stratton, MS, OTR/L completed a low vision rehabilitation residency as part of our occupational therapy program.  Please join us in congratulating both on their accomplishments!
