Melissa Taussig, a volunteer, mentor, and long-time supporter of Spectrios is holding a Mom’s Retreat for moms with children that are visually impaired.  Melissa is an amazing counselor and if you or someone you know could benefit from this program, we highly recommend signing up.

Lead by:

Becky Andrews, LCMHC, is the Clinical Director of Resilient Solutions, Inc.  She is a frequent keynote speaker, business and leadership trainings and bookclubs as she shares a story of Resilience.  Becky is the author of Look up, move forward – her story of losing her eyesight and finding her vision. In her spare time, she loves to hike, bike (on a tandem), run, travel and enjoy time with her family and guide dog, Georgie.

Melissa Taussig, specializes in providing adjustment counseling to those with lifelong and newly acquired vision loss. Having lived experience with vision loss herself, Melissa feels grateful to walk alongside others on this path. She is a licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of Illinois. She has two musical middle schoolers. Melissa is blessed to be guided by Ophelia, her beautiful yellow lab guide dog.
